Ok I have to jump in here also. I had a blast running this track backwards. I was unsure about it in the 1st session, but by the 3rd session when I figured it out, wow it was fun! T17,16, 15 and going into the launch are my absolute favorite going backwards. I am not a big fan of the diamonds edge going the regular direction (ccw) because of "the bump" but I loved it going CW... you can carry a lot of speed into it and brake really late (thanks Buck for pointing that out first hand when you flew by me while I was braking WAY too early ).

I thought everyone rode well yesterday with very few "WTF?" moments. Thank you guys for riding with a cool head until you knew what to expect. I love a "boring" day at work when we don't have to pick riders up off of the track.

I, for one, am looking forward to running this configuration in the future. Anybody who was apprehensive about running CW should come out and try it. I bet you'll like it. But be sure and come prepared. It's really technical. It kicked my .

Sorry to anyone I didn't get to help in the last 2 sessions. I had to leave early because I have mid-terms this week I have to study for. (I have to make more money next year in my new career so I can afford more parts for the bike!)

Now I won't feel so bad about him being so much faster than me.

It still kinda freaks me out when I go into the shop and this beautiful blue 07 R6 is staring back at me with this gleam in the corner of her headlight. Almost as if to say "Come on daddy lets go back to the track". I picked her up Friday night and broke her in saturday morning at the track. I know Chris took some pics of her.....Maybe he could be a pal and post one up....them pm me about a cd of the rest.

By the way I would like to apolgize to anybody that was wanting or needing help on sat. I was a little preoccupied with the new bike...running CW was def. a challange. A new track in the same spot as you old fav. What a trip....I think flip flop of the direction every month would be awsome.

I forgot to give Jason the props for the new Yami..........should of got the Honda, but hey at least you're riding something form this millenium. As for the times, I ran a couple of :47's with my best at 1:47.560 on the '07, which was a couple seconds faster than the '03. I think Whoopie ran a '47.3xx. Not sure what Bill Drake was running, but probably a few seconds off that, and Larry was out so we'll see what he can do next time. We will definately see more of CW in the future.

I helped Derek do his slipper mod. The bike only had 2 miles on it (road test) when I took it to the track Sat. Now it has 68 miles......Mods will soon be coming

Riding the track clockwise was awesome. Totally enjoyed racing with Alonso in one of the PM sessions. Even though the direction is more technical, somehow it has a higher enjoyment factor.
