This is very sad. I've seen him post a lot on the board and saw him at the Sept. Cure Search/Powersports ride but never had the opportunity of meeting him.

Well it has taken a full day for me to soak up what has happen. I loved Matty, he was my big mac daddy. Only a few knew how we were and how close we had become. It is a true blessing to have someone come into your life and light it up the way Matt did mine. He always had a smile on his face and something kind to say. It is hard for me to imagine another meet & greet without him. I love all of you guys, but Matt is who I would watch for to walk through the door with that big grin and sarcastic Ney York attitude. His attitude was uplifting and it will take along time for me to "get over it". It matters not the details involved the only details that matter now is how many lives he touched and effected just by being in the same room. Matt was intoxicatingly personable, he never met a stranger and never turned his back on his friends. Matty you will be missed and i will remember you and love you forever.

This is horrible. I just got back home to find this. . .I've met a lot of great people thru MH, but Matt always made me feel the most comfortable and included. He was on the first group ride I ever went on, and he treated me like a member of the pack from the first second he met me. Everything about him was big: his smile, his laughter, his hugs and his heart. He never ran out of room for new friends. Rest in Peace.

You always treated me like a brother Matt. I remember the very first day we met at La Hacienda I knew nobody and had nowhere to sit so you called me over and introduced me to all your friends and let me sit with ya'll (and called me names ya ! :keke). From the day on whenever I was in town I would hit you up or at any meet we were together I would hang by your side. You hooked me up with a smoking hottt chick once and you never let me forget how much I owed you, and I won't ever forget it. You've been through 3 of my relationships with me and always felt very comfortable letting me know how you felt about each of them When I needed help starting a club way the fawk out here in Huntsville YOU rode down from 290 @ 1960 to help, never once asking for anything in return. I will never forget you Matt, the only regret I have is not having had more memories with you my brother. Ride in Peace and watch over us

Matt was the first person from MH to really reach out and welcome me. He was always laughing and always kidding around with me at every meet that I saw him at. He was MH to mem the attitude, and comradrie. You will be missed Matt. MH won't ever be the same without you to me.

I had more than a few in his memory last night. It was even worse when you go out, an run into mutal riding buddies of Matts and we start talking about his passing. This is the second person that was in my original riding group that has passed in just this year for me. Was real ruff when I heard the news about matt. I really don't know what to say.

The first thing I did today was find some words of encouragment from everybody on here and his page.

Man, I never ever post here anymore, and it's sad that I am doing it now under these circumstances. But I have to say that I will miss Matt and he was truly one of the people I've liked the most from MH. I got the call from Arturo yesterday and I still keep thinking I'm going to see Matt at a meet 'cause this can't be real. I will truly miss Matt. We all love you bro! RIP.
