If you want a liter bike, go for it. However, I would not trade a 636 for a new 675. I don't think there is enough difference to justify the additional cost.

Or get a 1000 and go slower and enjoy the torque lower down in the rev range - so that you don't have to have it pinned everywhere you go.

i got to back u up on that statement, when one of my buddys got a 06 zx10 he let me take off on it down the beltway and wow.. that bike scared the %$( outta me i was getting on leaving the light in 1st, didnt nail it hard or anything and then got to the on ramp in 2nd, and then shifted into 3rd around 70 or so, then saw a corvette ahead i figuared it would give it a little gas, next thing i know that front wheel is airborne! lol

torque is not an issue for that bike, scared me , but i got myself in check and rode it out for a little bit and then put it down and had a HUGE grin on my face and the floating 3d gauges are AWESOME!

my 675 is for sale.. 07 yellow.. aftermarket led lights, levers, exhaust, air filter, gel seat, -1 in the front, etc.. etc... Triumph dealer offered me $7200 for it on the spot last time I was at sams boat.. I think Im going to take it there tuesday and sell it.. its only got 1500 something miles on it.. Best bike I have ever been on.. anyways Gryphin hit me up if interested.. If not its just going to go to the dealer tomorrow. Its probably the best looking 675 around and I think the people that have seen it will agree..
