Stock 05' CBR600RR exhaust question

This may seem like a stupid question but what is the stock exhaust made of? Stainless or Titanium? Also, it seems there is a wall of some sort inside the muffler that can be drilled out, Are there any benefits from this other than sound? Can this "wall" be removed?

certainly not Ti, some parts of it may be SS, I have not looked at one it a while so I cant remember. Drilling that out will make the sound different. Get a real exhaust if you want louder.

metal. hahah that is heavy. but yeah, it does get louder. if you just wanna get a muffler for sound then just drill it.

I want it to be a little louder but every exhaust I have heard gives bikes a deeper note to it. I like the high pitched crisp sound if that makes any sense. Are there any slip-ons that keep that sound?

*note to self, do not ride with this guy* lol look at the yoshi exhausts, those tend to be high pitched.
