Question 01 ZX11 WILL NOT IDLE

Patrick, you remember doing the tune and suspension on Steves bike earlier this year. Well, it is now a fixture in my garage, and the thing will not idle without the choke on. I've raised the idle all the way and still nothing.

When I ride it, it dies. I put a new battery in it last week also. The bike sat up for a few months, but it had Stabyl in the tank. I started it every week and let it run for 20 or so minutes. It was ok until last weekend.

Any ideas?

Sounds like to slow speed air jets or the idle jets may have become clogged agin.
Drain the tank, come by the shop, and I've got some stuff you can try to run through it if it's not too badly clogged.

We'll do. If you see Clyde, give it to him and I'll give you my CC to cover it by phone.

Thanks Patrick
