When I get fired it will likely be because of MH.

Or the "pictures that make you lol" thread on H-I.

Too late I realized that when you open that sucker up it downloads all of those pictures from whatever fukt up websites they're hotlinked from. I must have a LIST of off-limit sites over at our IT department.

(My last boss got fired for surfing mail order brides at work)

Waaaait a minute. Well, you're probably right. For the longest time I had Kramer as my avatar. This was pre-racial slur blow-up. If I still had it, I'm sure *somebody* would have called me a racist.

If I didn't think I'd get popped for it, I'd scan the list of sites that he visited (our IT dept. gave us the list as evidence when we fired him) and post it up here. It's a pretty funny list.

like 20 pages of sites over a one month span that they sampled. The catch is that it wasn't technically , more like scantilly clad mail order brides and models and stuff - but apparently the IT filter caught it all as .

My operator came to me one day and said, "your boss xxxx got caught by IT looking at . We need you to dismiss him when he comes in today. Try and get him to resign, tell him it's in his best interest. (which is BS they just didn't want him eligible to file for unemployment) Now you have his job, hours and salary."

I was like, "thanks!"

edit - oh yeah, the company that owns us is purdy hard core.

We've also fired quite a few folks for visiting or looking at other inappropirate material at work. We are allowed to use the Internet as long as it doesn't interfere with work; definitely during breaks and lunches, you betcha.

By the way, if folks knew what all the IT department can see, they may think twice about what they are doing on their computer ....

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-
