I've spent a lot of money on motorcycles and other fun things, the rest I've just wasted.

1,500 on maintenance/year
10,000 on upgrades and mods/year
1,500 on gear/year
2,000 on tires/year
2,500 on trackday/year (cornerworked for the other)
1,500 traveling expenses

i've kept track of all my spending that has to do with bikes, i actually keep all my receipts. and these are just roundabout numbers, which are close to accurate.

yeah, i've spent a whole lot on this sport....but in the end, i have no regrets. it's been a journey that will stick with me for the rest of my life. i've made good friends, met good people, and i like to keep it that way. let's just hope next year won't be as expensive since i'm done with most of my modding

I'm scared to add it all up but it's alot. TD' alone were well over 2k this year and tires so far above or around 1200. Not going to attempt to add up fuel costs, oil changes, brakes, servicing, gear etc....

IMO the less I know of what I spend on this sport the happier I am.

Seriously, everyone that owns a sportbike and ride triple digits should come to the track and learn how to manhandle the that they own. One trackday is not gonna make you a pro and you will not learn it in one day. I say, give it about 5-6 try and you will see street riding differently, if you make it that far without hurting yourself. It's expensive but it's worth it.

Once you go into surgery it adds up extremely fast. I have been fortunate to walk away from my incidents.

You should be thinking about this everytime you swing your leg over the bike.

Oh Yeah,
Everybody who gets on a bike is willing to fall off. They may not want to, but they are willing...

Moody is high maintenance.

When a guy looks at a lady, he can tell from the way she dress if she is high maintenance due to fashion statements, and jewelry she wears. IF a girl wants to know if a guy is high maintenance just look at his hobby.
