That was probably some of the original group of guys. I used to stop by there early on, but I didn't go too often after that. I went back a few times, and noticed that alot of the (now older) guys I used to know, were no longer there, and it was alot more teens, so I felt out of place. At some point, it became a place where the new gen would start pulling wheelies and endos up and down Westheimer, etc., and it wasn't just about hanging out anymore, but showing off and posing. I truly believe, if not for that, JCI would still be the place to hang today, and the cops would have let the tradition continue. And as Cletus said, we got married....

Does anyone remember the Club "10 in 10"...??? It was supposed to be a bunch of guys running the 610 loop in 10 minutes. I think is from the earlier, mid 90's.

There was a lot less traffic because we would run 105 at midnight from Conroe to Livingston and not see but one or two vehicles.

Yeah I was there about half of the saturday nights from 98-02 or 03, whenever the bust was. While the pigs were bustin the k-mart, I was at JCI wondering where the fukk everyone was....lol

Finally later that night I caught up with some guys at a gas station and they told me what happened.

I loved JCI though, we would cruise westheimer, then head to JCI to chill/eat etc....then leave again and cruise some more, then back to JCI....Then all the racing and stunts started happening at Westpark, and everyone started wrecking etc, cops got thick quick. I knew it was getting bad at JCI when people would just come up there and setup lawn chairs in front of JCI to watch the stunt show on Westheimer...

I got the biggest kick out of checking out everyone's bike etc....and they were mostly nice, well modified bikes to, not this stunt bike junk that popping up everywhere.....

Goodtimes, goodtimes...

i think we all agreed back in the days doing the 610 loop in under 10 minutes is not possible.

they had a 610 group where they claimed houston. kind of like saying, "i stay in the 713"

Sorry but I called BS to 10 minute 610 loops. I want to see a video proof, I could do it too after I make down 45.

No, can't be done. too much traffic, too much distance. You would need a Bell 407 helicoptor to make that run.
Let's all get together and throw in a pot as the prize. We will put a couple of cam corders on the bike and let gixers budies show us how...

you know the saying, "pics or it didn't happen!"

the loop is 38 miles long

if you go 38 miles an hour on your bike it will take you one hour. if you go 76 miles an hour you can finish it in 30 minutes. this is at a constant speed and no slowing down for turns or traffic.

I have calculated out for y'all. Let's say if you are doing 180mph divide by 60 mins = 3 mile for every min. There are 38.3 miles that means in 10 mins, you are only making 30 miles at 180mph constant speed without the traffic or cops, with GP racers skill in turns and sweepers. You will still lose.

I guessed it would need 190 plus, that is why I brought up the chopper.
No, not with traffic and the governor on the bike.
Now 15 minutes, hmmmm.....

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-
