You can order Scorpion helmets directly from the manufacturer as well. I had ordered my first one like that and it arrived pretty quick. They even have a shopping cart on their website now and gonna offer jackets soon:

wow thats badass. I've had a scorpion EXO-700 for the last year and a half or so and i love it. Best gift i ever received!!! That 1000 looks freakin awesome....looks like i know what im gonna ask for from my gf fro christmas!!!!!

I have been wanting a "dual shield" lid for a long time cuz i hate having to pull over and switch shields at night plus sunglasses are a pain, literally when you wear them ALL DAY on a bike.

i don't think pumping the inside of a helmet to make it fit right is considered safe......take a spill, and what if the inside decides to pop during impact.....might be a lil dangerous. why not buy a helmet that is shaped for your head and fits correctly?

I've got one and not a huge fan of the helmet it self(noisy, hurts my melon after a while, heavy and no face shield lock) other than the price and flat black paint scheme but It's my street helmet none the less. The Arai is the one I trust a the track.

scorpion makes cool helmet. Ever since using Arai or Soumy helmet, I am hooked. One time I got whiplashed looking back when I was doing 170mph at TWS (Texas World Speedway) wearing an Icon helmet. It didn't happen with Arai or Soumy, plus these two brands have visor lock built in. I would like to have a Scorpion with the chromatic visor, the one that changes in daylight.

if it in any way resembles the weight of the 700 then it's not for me... i looked into those but could only find the 700 and it was MUCH heavier than the shoei rf1000 that was right beside it

I crashed in my Scorpion and it got scratched up pretty good but except for a bump, a little scratch on the forehead and a concussion, I was fine. Considering how I looked and felt after the crash, I think the helmet did a pretty dang good job.

Of course, it would've been interesting to see if a Shoei had kept me completely injury free, who knows.

I am sure they will have the Scorpion 1000 at the motorcycle show. That will be the chance to test fit and check it out.
