Maybe you could give her the money back less a $500 "restocking" fee. Another option might be to work out a little sumpin sumpin for your trouble.... but that's just me.

she's SOL she bought the car then sent you a message stating she didn't want it any more keep the text on your phone incase something should come of the complaint then when you go before the judge say she sent me this message stating she did not want the car anymore because she did not like it and ask how do i know they did not intentionally cause the damage to try and get their money back.

Seriously I don't see how she could possibly sue you.
You don't have any legal responsibility to reveal problems with the car. She bought "as is" with no warranty.
The fact that you have offered to help with repairs shows a good faith effort to resolve the problem. All she can do is gripe about how you screwed her (even tho' you didn't).
