The cheapest, quickest place I know to tell you is Discount Motorcycle Tire on Spencer hwy @ Shaver in Pasadena.... They have a huge new dealer/shop with 2 big air conditioned service areas.... I bet you can get a 180 for around $160 installed out the door. I recently got two new Pilot powers installed for $350 out the door, ride in, ride out...I was done in 30 mins with no scratches on anything...

There's a nail in the tire, and I was wondering if I could just put some fix a flat and air in the tire and ride it to where ever they're going to change the tire at... Good idea or not???

no, it is not hard to do......but if you don't know how, i wouldn't recommend experimenting. the rear wheel is a pain in the compared to the front wheel.

Motorcycles Unlimited can hook you up with a badass deal also. call them up 281-444-0545 and tell them you are a motohouston member. they are sponsors on this forum as well.

and you're looking for a 180/55....not 180/50

i'm not sure if fix a flat is a good idea. plugging it to get it changed is a better idea. you can get a plug kit from any auto parts store. i would highly recommend no fix a flat.

plugging the tire is not a hard task.

some tires are not compatible with each other.....remember, you only have 2, not 4....so because a car can have mismatching tires.....doesn't mean a bike can.

Just give Javi a call, tell him what you have and he'll tell you if has something that will match what you have in the front. He'll take care of you!
