There's few people that I let ride my bikes, and as you said, any of them have both the resources AND the ethics to replace it if it was damaged while under their care.

Too many times though I've seen people who have the resouces but not the ethics, tear something up and then suddenly stop returning your phone calls.

That and lending money to friends are 2 quick ways to end friendships.

FWIW, based on your description though, I voted yes.

i voted yes too. there are very few people i'd let ride it. but 1 that i know of would be my dad so there fore no would not be the correct answer. i can think of a grand total of 6 people including myself that rode my bike and one of those was the guy at the dealership once it was taken out of the crate and assembled

me too, and everyone that i would let ride it would make sure of that too... or i know they would pay to fix it... but at the very minimum i have full coverage so it's taken care of

Yeah, on what you listed as the poll criteria, I would lend my bike out.

In the past, I have riden my budies R6 while he rode my gixxer. My wife and I ride the gixxer (it's hers actually.)

Stuff like that...

If we trade bikes, as in I ride yours you ride mine, cool. Otherwise, not likely.
(depends on circumstances; person asking, history, money, my mood, etc.)

dizam... I loned my bike to a friend for 2 months b/c he needed transportation to work, it was someone that I knew would take care of it.

two thumbs down to the people that say they don't know 1 person that they would say yes to, that's harsh.

and FWIW, I'M PICKING UP THE BIKE TONIGHT.

Thank U Brena!!!
