I really don't know how he saved that!

It doesn't even look like the front tire is touching the pavement - and even if it is, the contact patch is so small and indirect that it looks ready to slide at any moment.

This guy's got skills for the bills and all that.

Yep. Certain situations/tracks/variables dictate whether you ride a motard dirt-bike style (pictured above) or more of a roadrace style (both feet on pegs, knee down, etc...)
