there is some kinda plant. (chemical, refinery, power) plant right near this. Big cooling towers ect. anyone tell me what and who it is? just curious as i live out in cypress now and driving to channelview is a

it's a power plant and substation. The Plant and substation is called T.H. Wharton and was once owned by Texas Genco. T. Genco was a power generation company that was sold off by CenterPoint energy and then later bought out by NRG Energy which is a power generation company.

Probably more than you wanted to know but I used to work in the power industry so I know a lot about it.

So NRG energy at the T H Wharton plant is the current owners?
am gonna look them up and see if theyh be hiring sometime in the future
