My R1 is not just another R1.......I promise.
But as I said, I'm not knocking the 600's..........just haven't been too thrilled.

I know, I've seen pics and seen a list of mods. VERY impressive. I'm comparing a stock 636 to a stock R1 though. If my bike had what yours has, I'd be buried with it.
I don't mind you 'bashing' 600's You have a certain type of bike you like. Just as I don't see a point in 1000's, some feel the same about 600's. No right or wrong answer.

The first time I rode it I was shakin violently, kinda freaked me out, had ridden lots ov very fast street bikes, but this thing is a monster, it launches u off the line, like 1.0-1.1 60 fts, kinda spooky, not sure this thing is capable of roll ons tho

I rode my wifes 675 today to galveston. Great bike with loads of power for the street. I honestly thought for a moment of selling the rc, but when I got home I wanted to do a comparison and found that the rc with more ponies and torque just made me smile more. A 600 class bike could never replace my liter bike. It is still fun to go romp on one every now and then to remind myself why I like raw HP

clydo, i will spend some time with you at your next trackday and give you some special hints and pointers. that 600 is bound to give you a little boost on the track, i'll show you some special lines at TWS (Texas World Speedway) that will allow you to start passing those bigger bikes it the turns and they'll be catchin up to you and the beginning of the next turn!

trust me, that thing can and will run with the big ones for a while, at least thru the turns, remember, i've pulled the 1k's in most all of the turns till we get going good down the straights and that big hp kicks in, its to be expected tho.

and i've also pulled and passed those same 600's on the TZ-250 and while riding the CR450F also, it's all about the corner entry and exit speed. you should be able to get on the gas way before those big bikes, their power isn't as forgiving as the 600.. when exiting turns with a big bike, you have to tell yourself that you want to hear your own exhaust before you hear the big bikes exhaust this will push you to get on earlier and to shoot past them exiting the turns.
