I've chased CarbonR1 around the track more than a few times, I don't doubt the capabilities of the 636 or CarbonR1 but..........maybe it's my 195 pound ?

When I first got the 1098 james and I went ridin and I was surprised how well the 636 would hang, he definately rides the wheels off of that thing

IMHO the 600 is easier to ride fast. While the 1000 has more motor, most can't get on the gas as soon as you can a 600. So the 600 gets the drive out of the corner better....usually. The only time a 1000 has any advantage is if there is a sizable straight.
BTW I used to ride a SV650 in our old Sunday morning group ride. mostly 1000's and the SV did just fine. Just don't hit the brakes

Yeah, I remember chasing you around when you rode the RC51 and I had a Busa...............I only had an advantage on the straights, a VERY SLIM ADVANTAGE.........but I could get close enough to see your tail light again:/:

HAh... ride my max then hit the 600's I have the umph I love in the bike but worry when I get the R6 rebuilt that I will be dissapointed in it. But I think it is going to be a perfect track bike. YOu can ride Max anytime. Just make sure you get it up to the Vboost, it is swwweeeettttt...

wrd. I've driven 10 sec. cars before when I worked for speed demon(mostly c5 vettes) I will admit that they set u back in the seat real good but there is nothing like taking a bike down the 1/4. First couple of good runs I could barely hold the time slip straight to read it. Gotta love that adrenaline rush

Eh, I've ridden an R1. My 636 is still in the garage, and won't go anywhere, willing, for a while.
