Road Alert: Post em!

I figured this might be a good idea to post specific road conditions around the houston area, that may catch a rider by surprise, and contribute to an unfavorable result: Crashing.

If you, in your experiences, have come across a road condition that made raised your heart rate in a bad way. post up.

I'll start.

Freeway exchanges (specifically 610 North Loop onto 45 North, and 610 West Loop onto I-10 West): There is old spilled paint on the road. I never road over them, but they've been there awhile, and it doesn't mean that the next time you take that turn, there won't be new freshly spilled paint around that blind sweeper (or in the same spot as the old paint).

I-10 Feeders: With all the construction on I-10, there is alot of dirtwork going on. When it rains or there is a light shower, it's not the motor oil film you need to be alert to, but the thin layer of clay/mud that's on the feeder road itself. It's slick, and it'll wipe you out. Twice I came upon this situation, but was able to get through it unscathed. Eastbound feeder between Wirt Rd. and Silber Rd. are particularly bad in my experience.
