There is an 07 CBR600RR with 4000 miles at X-IT cycles right now for $5500. Hers is only $10,000 or so overpriced!!

And i wouldnt even pay $11,000 for a 600cc brand new. I paid less than that for my 07 zx10r brand new OTD. I paid $8500 OTD on the 636 my girl now has. Im patient though and i shop around. When i feel good about the deal, i take it.

she is learning a hard lesson about impulse buying and "total cost" of a financed vehicle.

Upside down is no place to be on a motorcycle loan.

She's more than welcome. She'll just catch slack for a while. Where did she purchase the bike? She have the dealer install and finance the goodies too?

+ 1, before I bought my first bike, I logged onto some forum and asked for advice. Ended up with a good deal on a 250.

Mrs Gonzo, I wish she would've listened to her sister and you. Definitely expensive lesson learnt. I hope she can recover from this somehow.

maybe someone without credit would like to take over payments.:dontknow:

This is the classic case of having good credit and no cash financing. Salesmen/persons are eville. They can smell blood the minute you walk through the door. You look at the bikes, you're excited like kids in a candy or toy store. They knew they had you just a matter of number games to hook and reel you in.

100% RIGHT ON THAT STATEMENT. They try to run the " only X amount of dollars a month" gimmick on everybody but they dont tell you the %finance and other hidden costs, they make you only focus on the monthly's. I truely do feel sorry for her and others that go through the same problem but if you dont do some research, you get screwed

Saw her today beating the living out of the bike. NOT something I would be doing if I were trying to sell it, especially at that price.

Drag racing some other bike down 518, and generally banging it off the rev limiter. I know the bike is made to do it, but not something I'd do when trying to sell a bike for a little over double what it's worth. ESPECIALLY on a road like 518. It's only 2 lanes each way, very heavily congested, and there are a LOT of entrances and exits where she was bangin' gears.

Suddenly, I don't feel sorry for her anymore. Someone oughto tell her to calm down.

Ok look people I work for stubbs, I put the same on a bike the day before, I made the prices. We told her the set price before she said she wanted it put on. Everything she had put on the bike we told her x amount of hrs before we started. She gave us the line of I have money I dont care how much it cost, I want it like that.
