I am the regional director also.
we make 2 rallies to bandera and one a year to eureka springs arkansas.
we TRY to have at least one local ride a month
going to bandera mid november for our fall rally.
will try to get another local vmax ride together sunday after next.
give me a shout if u need any v-max stuff or some web site locations
can hook you up.

Thanks, looks like I'm going to need some new front discs and do a double D mod on the clutch. I appreciate all the positive comments in this thread!

FYI, for any technical questions or service work you need on the Max, hit up Ron Sussman at Pasadena Kawasaki.....He is one of the owners but he is a HUGE Vmax fan and has worked on them since Day 1.....He was a tech for yami for like 20yrs.... There are people that ship him Vmaxes from all over the US for him to rebuild/tune...

He has a yami Ventura(the big touring bike like a Goldwing, weighs like 800lbs) with a hopped up Vmax motor in it, the bike has ran 10.80s at the strip and I have seen that crazy jerk up a 50yd long wheelie on it....

I did the Double d mod on mine a few years back. the bikes launches so much better BUT the lever pull is stiffer and can be abit tough in stop-n-go traffic
