thanks, what's your name? Any magazines, books, etc. that I could bring him to help keep him entertained? We all know he'd enjoy Motorcycle magazines, but maybe something else??? Maybe a drink he really likes or some favorite snack or something.

Saw Scott at 10am. Guitar Man and I were the only visitors... He's good. Can't read anything or move a lot, but he's awake and talkative. Should be moved to a room today or tomorrow. He will have to stay in the hospital for 2 days AFTER he is fitted with his back brace - they measured him for his brace last night.

Says he used to really like Skittles.

Hope some other people try to make the 1 - 1:30pm time slot. I will try to go back. I got a parking garage pass for his parents, but don't know how to reach them to hand it over. PM to Jimmy for more info...

myself, JetG and YankeeR6 are heading up there for the 1-1:30 session. Meaner, were they super strict about times and limiting visitors to 2 people?

Was anyone riding with him last night that knows any details on how this occurred? , I'm sure HE'D like to know if he doesn't remember,
I'd like to know how he got rear-ended as well. So he has permanent memory loss of the moment before his crash? . I was hoping to ride with him on the sunday morning ride.

This man/buff woman seems to know the details

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...6&postcount=10

Sounds to me like he tried to switch lanes too fast and too close behind the car and the car switched in the same lane as him...trying to avoid him but unfortunately...making him rear end the car.

or

a car brake-checked him when he followed too closely(which is very rare)

or

just excessive speed.

I can't think of another scenario.

not really he wasnt there, he started to pass the car and the car got over so he tapped his brakes too hard which caused him to flip off the bike and into the car. The bike never hit the car....
