I changed the starter, and clutch, that is all. Even the A/C held up till I sold it.

+1 , MY MOTHERS 4RUNNER, HAS OVER 250K ON IT GOING STRONG ALL ORIGINAL PARTS...JUST NORMAL STUFF REPLACED, BELTS, BRAKES, BATTERIES ETC..

I just got back from test driving an 07 Trailblazer used with 18K miles for $21K not to bad of a ride. Then I drove an 06 Tahoe with 23k miles for $25. Not bad either, the Trailblazer actually rode alittle smoother since its a little smaller.

4runner is still my favorite out of them all if I can find one... but the Envoy/Trailblazer is a close 2nd. Tomorrow i'm going to test drive the Jeep and Xterra.

It's a nice reliable car.
Can't beat their services either.

^^ No, no, no
SUV's are not that bad when driven properly.
Problems with SUV's are that they're mostly driven by women

Want to go no higher than 25k and yrs of 2005-2007 these are the ones I'm thinking about

4runner, Envoy, Trailblazer, Tahoe, Yukon, Grand Cherokee, Commander Xterra, Pathfinder...

Anyone have/drove these for awhile and can tell me pros/cons of them. I already know GAS WILL SUCK!!!

I'm going to go tomorrow and start test driving a few of them to see what I think of them, but wanted to narrow it down before i go if possible..

opinion # 134 they flip over drive carefully

the xterra is horrible for passengers, the design of the rear doors make it very hard to get in and out.

not in the range of years you said, BUT you might consider anyways...

you might be able to find an 02 escalade for that price. get the EXT (truck looking one)

that is some hardcore pimpin, and chances are if you get it auction/repo/ebay/impound, etc...and there is any chrome or rims on it, you might find some drugs hidden in it!

but for real, ext's are baller. other than those, i see no point whatsoever in owning an SUV.

QUIT SUCKIN UP ALL THE GAS MAN!

Not worried about my passangers, they will be lucky just to ride with me.

My roommate has an 03 xterra that is ok. Rides kinda ruff and on gas but not bad...

Thanks bro I will look into the forum. I test drove the Trailblazer yesterday and was impressed. it was a used 07 with 18K miles for $21k. Get it under $20k and it be even better. But I still have to wait a few more weeks to see if they find my car.
