Opinions on SUVs...

Ok well since I will be looking for a different car i'm thinking about an SUV and figured a few ppl here have had/have them..so I wanted to get some input...

Want to go no higher than 25k and yrs of 2005-2007 these are the ones I'm thinking about

4runner, Envoy, Trailblazer, Tahoe, Yukon, Grand Cherokee, Commander Xterra, Pathfinder...

Anyone have/drove these for awhile and can tell me pros/cons of them. I already know GAS WILL SUCK!!!

I'm going to go tomorrow and start test driving a few of them to see what I think of them, but wanted to narrow it down before i go if possible..

Tahoe is the best vehicle for price/choices.
Big enough to be comfortable and power to tow, decent gas mileage compare to others, holds value too.

Get the Jeep, will probably have the best mileage, affordable, and you can put a hella ton of miles on it.

for $25k your options are limited from these.

we bought a trail blazer for $23.5k from Landmark after 8hrs of haggling but it came with the sound system, XM, onstar, and tv. its my girls suv but i like to drive it because its hella smooth and bumps real hard. came with a hitch too.

yukons and tahoes are mid 30k suvs.

Go 4runner. The V8 only gets 14-15 mpg, but they are so reliable, comfortable, and the 04+ are really roomy. The value holds. Jeeps hold their value probably the worst out of the group. Tahoes seem to be reliable, but again, the value wont' hold like on a toyota. Nissan makes good reliable cars, but i know nothing about Armadas. My last toyota went over 500k on all original parts. I changed the starter, and clutch, that is all. Even the A/C held up till I sold it.
