Grips: Renthal Full Diamond Medium

I need new grips and have read elsewhere (stuntlife.com, etc.) that these are the $hit. Primary use: stunting. Anyone have experience with these or recommend others?

Man, I have the diamond/waffle on my KX250...I hate them with a passion! The "waffle" pattern is too much for me. A pattern more like the diamond is what I usually ride with.

i appreciate the input. i stopped by a local shop today to see what they had. lots of renthal grips, but none for sport bikes. they also had one pair of "spider grips". they felt a lot better, very "sticky", which i think is what i want. these are the grips that kane freisen swears by. he might be on to something.

Dude how you going to ask a (stunt) question about some hand grips. While you found your answer on stuntlife.com MH is mainly track and street riders. Yeah there stunters here. But you already found your answer....... :dontknow:

i asked for OPINIONS of anyone, especially stunters, on their experiences with these and other grips. so you're saying that racer's and street rider's opinions on this are worthless? :dontknow:

did you even read what he wrote or just start spewing words from your fingertips?

I used to run the Spider grips on my race quad(MX) and loved them. I like the full diamond grips you listed above as well, but they wear faster than the waffle in my experience. on the other hand, if you can't change grips, you probably shouldn't be riding, so it's probably nothing for you to make the swap yourself.

grips like those seem very sticky. and if i remember correctly (friend had some), the material is thick, so they're probably comfortable too. worth trying.

I'm using soft Pro-Grips (similar pattern to the spiders above) on my 929 and I love them. They are pretty sticky and fairly plush/easy on the hands. But what the do I know, I'm not a stunter, just a silly street rider.

i just remember him putting some on his 04 gsxr 1k a few years ago. but i haven't lived near him for 2 years now.

i want to sell the busa cause i don't ride it anymore since i got the 929. that busa's gonna land me in jail. the 929 lets me get my adrenalin fix in a more low key invironment. i've been procrastinating putting it on MH cause i need to re-take the pictures since my brother-in-law dropped it a couple weeks ago while trying to find the kickstand. i'm thinking of getting an 01-03 f4i to see if it's worth selling the 929 for. then maybe a track bike.

That is what I am using on the GSX-R right now.
