Make sure you really thoroughly clean the floor, and I mean clean when you do the coating. Otherwise, hot tire pickup and wear will make it a short lived event.

I hear spending the money on "U-Coat-It" brand coatings are very worth it, I know I won't go the Home Depot route again with their epoxy coating (like the Wally World brand too...).

I'll come help if you're gonna do it.

ive done a few floors when i worked for my dad and that is true.

wash it with a bleach/water detergent (hose and mop) and find a degreaser after you are done to apply. the most important part is that you let it cure like its supposed too.

really good investment

+1 on the bleaching the floor
+111111 on the HOA being a little bish! how did you get your trailer to fit in your garage though ... mine wouldn't clear the garage door by about 2-3 inches. i have to pay some dude $35/mth to park it in his lot!

i have used it before works good, but your garage floor is really dirty should clean it with acid tone then power wash, or the flooring paint won't stick and will peel.

i did mine with the ucoatit after the house was built, a week before we moved in. it's been ~6 months and haven't had a problem yet. the stuff's expensive though. cost me ~$500 for the materials (2 car garage). here's the link:

yeah, you definately need to clean your floor as much as possible. the paint sinks into the pores of the concrete. if you mist water on your floor and it beads intead of soaking into the pores, it's not ready for paint. you might need to rent a floor sander to resurface it. try cleaning it with muratic acid mixed with water you can pick up a gallon at any swimming pool supply place). just be careful, that stuff is nasty. it will smoke when you first pour it on the floor. try not to inhale the fumes or you'll burn your lungs. also, the paint dries way too fast. once you mix it, you got about 30 minutes. that might soud like a lot of time but you also have to do around all the edges with a brush before you start rolling. i had to keep adding water to it to buy more time. also, they barely give you enough paint, so watch how much you put down in the beginning of each coat. the first coat will look like , but the second coat will cover better.

you need a left mirror and youdont need turnsignals. if you have turnsignals on your bike they have to work.

anyways, it was a joke to solracer since he put his mirrors in my toolbox at a trackday and keeps asking about them
