Hey Jimmy, I made this ride before with you guys when I still had my R6, had to get rid of it and get a 1000 after that... I'm down for any sunday morning rides, I'll keep looking on here to see when the next one is.

Ah, so someone tried to keep up w/ good ol' jimmy. I still have to do a few more rides before riding at my full capacity, some of those roads trick you i.e. clayton's crashing point.

ok i have sat here this morning and read this entire thread and i have got to put my .02 in, #1 this ride needs to be by invitation only.#2 this ride needs to go to the pm's only. #3 you can't put blame on the organizer, when someone goes down the track, the track is not responsable. This ride is far too familiar to everyone on the board ie time, place, route ect. needs to be changed up a bit from time to time where the people you are unfamiliar with can't just show up and participate. #4 riders should not be riding outside of their means to try to keep up with the faster riders and if they do they are ultimately responsable for themselves. this is all i have to say on this matter.

good post.

While I haven't been able to make the ride for the past few weeks, once it goes to PMs, feel free to add me to the list of folks to contact (so I can still constantly say "I already have plans, :-(, lol).

+1 to this comment.
unfortunately, some riders might not know what their limits are until its too late.

Every season(and sometimes multiple times a season) it's the same old flippin song. All of a sudden here comes a group they get a bad rap, people argue, head butting goes on and finally after an event it or people are just plain tired of arguing the same flippin point over and over and over again.... it goes under the radar once again. And everybody is happy

OK someone fill me up

like i told tim this morning on the road is not the place to test your riding limits, that is what a track is for. i think Jimmy just needs to be a bit more selective on who rides with him, but at the same time he can't be held responsable for someone elses mistake.

Holy ! I didn't turn out because of the rain in my part of town. It rained all day with very little breaks between. I hope everybody is alright, sounds like you guys had an eventful trek this time around.

if i'm not mistaken, the other 2 that went down were guys that joined us while we were mid ride, not guys that met up with us in the morning. and as stated previously, u know what u r getting into on this ride, as I did. there is a lead group, and a tail group. no one makes anyone ride fast. if u chose to try to keep up its on u.

+10000000 on it not being the leaders fault if someone goes down trying to keep up.

ride ur own pace, be it out or slow as , i've never been on a ride where the leaders didn't stop and wait at every intersection.

i personally would never go on this ride simply because i know my limits and this is a high pace ride. My husband goes on this ride and i don't worry because he is a very seasoned rider, this ride is not for noobs. It really should be a little more regulated for safty

i want you all to know that none of my comments were directed at any one person. I think everyone should be selective in who they ride with because different riders have different styles of riding and usually don't mix it is a safety issue only. Jimmy has done nothing wrong, but his ride could be improved should he choose to make a couple of changes, fewer riders, more experienced riders a + in this ride only due to the skill level of Jimmy.

As far as Clayton goes, this could be chalked up to being one of his highest paces stunts yetJ/K clayton, glad you are ok.
