I still filtered all the way up 59 to 45. The lesson I learned is that you have to be more careful and not only watch for drivers not paying attention, but also for driver's paying the wrong kind of attention.

I was carrying my pistol too, so it goes double that I can't beat on random .

i've had that happen too, i would just stick out my elbow, with the pad in of course, and it would take off the mirror... they knew they turned into the turn lane trying to block me, it's not my fault i couldn't stop before i hit their mirror

That's funny you mentioned that. Last week on Racer X's thread, I was writing up a long reply, of which part of it was when you choose to lane-split or filter through traffic, be aware of the jerks who ARE looking at you with the intent to cut you off. Look into their rearview mirrors and keep an eye on their front wheels. I see it all the time. just when I was about to post, my friggin' laptop shut down, and I was like... f*ck it, I'm not gonna type that all over again!

i did it in california when i was there... but i would only do it when the cars were stopped... stopped cars don't move sideways, and before they do you see the wheels turn sharply

Mr. Cashtown, you are truely a gentleman.
he would still be cleaning the glass out of drivers seat from the window he rolled up. After I broke it with my helmet, I would have kept white-lining so he could not catch me or make a u-turn and head the other way.

Here's to taking the highroad and proving the better among us...

I've smashed some mirrors and kicked plenty of doors, but risk vs. reward wasn't in my favor here.

These days if I'm gonna get caught for something it REALLY needs to be worth it, or I need to know that I'm going to get away.

Should have had some titanium knuckled gloves on. those get the nose blood flowing nicely.

I doubt I could have held back, and also know that had this happened 3 or 4 years ago and you would have put the guy in the hospital no doubt.
