FIM SBK seaon is almost over...

Can't belive no one's been talking about it. Any predictions for the last race weekend coming up? It's Toseland's to lose, but Biaggi came on strong last weekend even leaping ahead of Haga in the points...

Last weekend had some great battles all race long.

Also, the manufacturer's title is the closest battle in history. Honda, Ducati & Yamaha have the possibility of winning the manufacturer's title this weekend.

I think Toseland will hold off everyone. Probably just look to finish top 5 or 6 and walk away w/ the title. But, if he has a spill like last week or a technical problem, it blow the thing wide open.

Biggest bunch of is SpeedTV isn't airing the races till Tuesday.

I don't like Toseland, but I think he will win it. The other guys are just coming on too late.

Haga-san always looks strong at the end of the season, as does Baylis. JT seems like he's been dropping off since he got confirmed on his MotoGP ride... is it the bike, the tires, or the rider that's dropping him back in the pack for finishes????

maybe he's trying to save himself for the big time?!?!

it was my first time to ever see a SS SBK race, so it was kinda weird not knowing any of the riders, it didn't really hold my interest too well but, nevertheless it was some great racing action. with the red flag being thrown i sure was hoping that #2 was gonna end up #1 for the win, that guy (forget his name ) rode a helluva ride and held off the Champ in true fighting style.

FIM superstock 1000's races are also fun to watch, teenagers on liter bikes going at it from the first lap, they're like sprint races 8-14 laps.

What would be sweet is this scenario:

Race 1:
- JT has some sort of mechanical issue/crash that knocks him out of the race or at least out of the points
- Haga finishes 1st
- Biaggi finishes 2nd

New point totals would then be:
Toseland - 396
Haga - 388
Biaggi - 387

Then Race 2 would have 3 riders capable of winning it all. It would be one of a final race. Talk about win it or bin it!!!!

James rides like he has lost his mind! He's bumping and moving like its nascar or something. I don't know enough about James to like or dislike the guy but I give the guy credit for effort.

Race 1 was awsome for the fight for 2nd. It seemed to me like what the commentators were saying about the choice difference between the 200 vs 190 rear tire was clearly evident with the battle. You could clearly see the streagths and weaknesses. Been a while since I have seen so much over taking in a SBK race.

What is the deal with Biaggi's starts? The guy used to be the fastest man on a Road Racing bike in the world. It looks like he is always fighting from bad starts or his qualifying sucks but in the race he does well and fights his way up. To me, he seems to had the additude an style to do what it takes to get to the front or crash trying in the past. Race 2 was nice Biaggi shoulda took double wins. LOL, poor guy got ahead of him self there at the end.

I have never been a big fan of Haga till this year. I ride Yamaha's and he has helped to bring alot of respect back to them this year. Kudo's to the whole team.

True, I always forget that Ten Kate Honda is not a factory team. Privateer racing at its finest. (they do get the most HRC support out of any privateer team AFIK...)

It's hard to say that Ten Kate is a true privateer team, because they aren't. They have more factory backing than any other privateer team in WSBK. It's the same with their WSS bikes.

What James wants... James gets.

How the do you know, who I know?
Your right I don't know him, but it is certainly my right to not like him as a rider. I don't care if he is talanted or not. They are pretty much all talanted at that level.

These guys are all kick and would love to ride 1/2 as fast as the slowest of the pack, all of them are kick , I think haga is one of the most underrated rider of all times, and King James is awesome and seems like a class act, Funny story . acustomer/friend came into the shop tuesday and said are U into just drag racing or do U like road racing as well? well of course I said both and he said I might of heard of his good golfing buddy, his name is Colin Edwards, and I said I think I heard of that guy before duh, I told him if he ever needed another golfer to hang with them I would be happy to do so, or if colin ever wanted to ride I hade a spare bike and would love to ride with him, maybe I could get Colin and my buddy Lyle Lovett and a couple of us to to ride, anyone interested? in joining us
