When that many people become basically bankrupt, who will be spending the money that keeps the economy running?
Our whole way of life is based on the middle class, working hard, saving their money and then spending it in a more measured, calculated way.

It's what is inside that counts. That's why I try to spend as much of my time as I can in the birthday suit.

Kids these days....

Only debt is my mortgage. I used my credit card for the rewards and pay it off every month.

Of course my idea of going out is going to play pool with a friend or two and not having more than two or three drinks so I can drive home safely.

+1

I do the same with my credit cards, I pay everybill I have with it, cellphone, electric, cable, ect... the points just keep adding up!!!!! Im going to amsterdam!!!

I like to not spend alot of money going out. Playing pool is a great night out with very little cost if you don't drink excessively. I smoke pot so no drinky for me. pot is alot cheeper and safer, maybe you should switch over to the green side? hahaha

I guess I would rather spend money on something to do or get alot of enjoyment out of instead of clothes that are well over priced. I know the value of a dollar and I know what a man will do for his last one. I know I don't want to see my last one, cause that means its having to be spent. I feel as if everything I do is a good deal. I bargan shop. I cut cost where needed. but because of that I live large in other ways, the right way(Ex: travel, or motorcycle as second vehicle. never to impress just for my personal happyness. after all happyness is priceless and very hard to find. but if i could put a price on it, temp. it would be the price of my bike while im riding it or the price of a month of vacation and traveling to new places every year. but even then you cant pay for life experience.). living in dept to impress or fit in with a group is obserd.:/:

My favorite jeans were given to me along with my newest pair of shoes and I paid $2 for my favorite shirt. That is what I mean by I could care less.

my fiancee does wants to have kids with me. anything else?

its a diffrence between having kids on purpose and "trying" to plan them and having them because you couldnt strap up. if you would not have had children do you think your life would change financialy? thats what i meant.

and yes i do want kids but i fall under the gold collar category maybe once or twice a month. its not a daily thing.

this summarizes LA for sure... i was there for a year and a half, i was told by a 25 year old girl i went on a date with... long story but conned her into thinking i have a limited edition porshe, but i was told by her that she would not date a guy with a corvette, it just meant he couldn't afford a ferrari.

The kids being referred to in this article would not be a product of the hippie generation. More of a product of the 80's.
