Yeah that only applies when we're in normal height circumstances which has a more dense air density, thus creating the resistance. At the height this dude jumped air density is waaaaaaay lower, essentially creating no drag and neglecting this "terminal velocity" rule.

As your resident speed queen and air junkie, terminal while skydiving is between 120 and 130 mph on your belly, depending on where you are jumping (ie: mean sea level vs. mountains). We can reach speeds in excess of 300 while head down or standing. The AAD I use fires off at 130 feet per second at 750 feet above ground level.

Pass this one on to Travis: "If you enjoyed that the first time, I'll catch you next time, but you will need to be naked".

im assuming he used a stabilizer(which probably slowed him once back in normal conditions) and/or something to protect his body.

Very much so, just throwing him out there so people can check it out. The who's crazier wasn't really meant to compare the two, just state that this dude is also insane as well We talked about him in class and thought some others might be interested.

I'd be curious to see the videos of these... I've done over 600 but I was in a MIG 21. I can say that your tears literally pull out of your eyes at over 300 mph, even with a face shield.
