Wasn't he the first one to do the double back flip? Or just the first backflip a few years back?

Kinda sad in a way. He showed a ton of talent in MotoX; but then started stuntin' and spent more time injured than racing.

I've been around travis a few times and he is one of the most down to earth people i have ever met FWIW, the majority of Travis' "down time" came from racing accidents, not "stunting". The way I understand it, RedBull gave Travis permission to try his hand at anything he wanted and they would stand behind him($$$). Why dedicate 100% of your potential to one sport when you can win championships in many others? How many rally car championships has he won now? X-games Supermoto wins? MotoX wins? SuperX wins? Everything he touches turns to gold. . .I think he's got it figured out He's an adrenaline junky like the rest of us. . .only his adrenal gland requires a LOT more stimulation than mine. Last, not too many MH'ers care about X-H20(jet ski freestyle), but Travis has been on some built standups in the surf, you'll see what I'm talking about early next year in Thrillbillies
