the "real" exhausts for the gixxers are designed by Team Yoshimura Suzuki. they just legally come with the bike. i dont care what the OEM uses for a stock exhaust for EPA, that thing is comming off asap anyways!

You try and stay away from them?

Is this because even though they are so good, you try and buy a much more exotic, exclusive, rare, collector's item like a Kawasaki ZX-6R?
NO, IT'S SIMPLY BECAUSE OUT OF EVERY 10 GIXXER RIDERS 9 ARE SQUIDS AND ONLY ONE ACTS SANELY WHILE ON THE SADDLE.
IN ADDITION, IT'S NOT LIKE YOU ENCOUNTER A KAWASAKI AT EVERY OTHER GAS STATION AND CONVENIENCE STORE.

Choosing a bike because it DOESN'T look like a lot of other bikes on the road is just the same as choosing one because it does. Both are based on image. Me, meh, I'll choose performance (with some style thrown in for good measure.)

Also, there might be something to be said for the fact that you see a lot of GSX-Ride Smart on the road.....hmmm?

Go look at AMA Superbike winners at near every race, come back and tell us what you find out.

Or better yet, go look and see what the OVERWHELMING choice of privateers is. This is a better gauge because these guys don't have factory support to throw at their machines, just like you don't.

You might snap a frame, but oh well, that's not something you appeared to be interested in in the first place.

I KNOW SUZUKIS KICK SOME SERIOUS IN THE AMA SBK, BUT I'M NOT A RACER SO PERFORMANCE IS RATHER IRRELEVANT AND MEANINGLESS TO ME. AN EXTRA 5 HPS ARE NOT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE ON THE ROAD.
LOL... INDEED, THIS IS A GOOD NATURED DISCUSSION. WE ARE JUST THROWING SOME PERSPECTIVES.

i didnt choose mine based on that either. i dotn know squat about who wins what race. i picked my bike based on comfort and looks, and that was bout it. in all honesty, when i started shopping for my first bike, the 636 was my first choice. i ended up going with suzuki. and at the time, everyone i knew that had bikes were either hondas or kawis.

THE KAWASAKIES' SEATS ARE REALLY CONFORTABLE[JUST MY OPINION] AND THAT'S WHY I PICKED IT AGAINST A HONDA. WELL, ALSO BECAUSE I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE GRAPHICS AND BECAUSE IT WAS $500 LESS.
