Ride Smart-3 Mufflers were stripped
So a while ago I inquired in another forum about some yoshi cans I have on the busa...
The left side has a different center piece coming out of the tip...
In my bordem during a perfectly busy work day I gutted that side(all rivots) and when I realized the tip was actually built into the baffle on that side(welded +) I gave up and wasn't about to go that far and just leave it, so I gutted the insulation on both mufflers and reinstalled everything.
Our rivots on hand didn't have a wide enough base as I'd prefer so I went to ace hardware and found some skimobile rivots( I don't know why they were in stock in the middle of Texas... Go figure.)
Changed the tone a bit and I understand there is a possibility of staining the metal(I left the first wrap on the baffle but took out the liner.) Wasn't about to let all that extra work go without a change...
And yes, I did commit the first post sin of not adding pictures yet... coming soon...
