got a question need your help on GSXR question

Today coming home from work I noticed that the red light came on, the one that has the oil, temp then F1 icon below it. I pulled over to check this out
thinking Am I leaking oil, water or what I then noticed where my engine temp is it kept flashing F1 then the engine temp. but temp was only 175
degrees at the time and after pulling over to check for any leaks when I started it back up the light went off and stayed off. what is the flashing F1? I run Amsoil racing grade changed oil 800 miles ago fluids are good. Do you think that pulling a wheelie could cause this? I had just pulled one before I noticed it.
Thanks for you time and input

Your bike is throwing a Fuel Injection code ( FI). You can put it into dealer mode to be able read the code, if you don't know how come by and we can let you know what's wrong.

Re: got a question need your help on GSXR question

doesn't your oil run to the bottom when you pull a wheelie...maybe it does have something to do with it, no oil to your piston in that moment, wouldn't it cause a lot of friction then? :dontknow:

THANKS Yall right: I think patrick hit it on the head I was almost on E so when I pulled over to check everything out I filled the bike up and I had no problem after that I think pullin that wheelie on low fuel caused that F1 code to flash

Re: got a question need your help on GSXR question

More than likely the fuel rail momentarily lost pressure which triggered the FI code.
Glad everything worked out for you!
