Oakhill tragic accident

Don't know if this has been posted yet or not, I haven't seen it. I posted about this in the "MSRH backwards post", but not everyone will read that thread.

There was an unfortunate accident that happened at Oakhill on Thursday, with an even worse outcome. Information can be found on the CMRA board and on the family website. I don't want to post any details because I didn't know this man personally and don't want to miscommunicate anything.

Thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Happened in T1................Never let anyone tell you Oakhill is a safe track, it is averaging one death per year for the last four years, and MANY more who will never walk the same. Broken femurs in turn 4, broken necks in T 5, collar bones and ribs T6, legs and backs in T7. With no EMS on site or corner workers it is not a safe place to play, despite the 75.00 fee. RIP Tom Beesley

RIP Tom Beesley. I just met Tom but liked him very much. I am really saddened to hear this terrible news. I read on CMRA that he was riding the 250 I just sold him a few weeks ago, and I can't help thinking any other small turn of events could have led me to sell it to someone else and he'd still be with us. This is terrible news, and heard all too often at Oak Hill.
