sucks big ........we were holding 3rd strong....and for what seemed like an eternity, me and 2nd place were battling for position.

almost every corner i would brake late into the corner and overtake him, but their bike had that extra pull and always got up again on the straights. was a fun battle none the less.

2nd place's bike ended up breaking down 30 minutes after our bike did....we could've taken 2nd, 1st place was a far stretch however.... the luck. gotta look into gettin some spare wheels now.

next race, we'll be more than ready, and we're goin after 1st place next time.

wouldn't be surprised if it was Roger and his gang from On/Off road(Im assuming it was F7). They don't really have any competition in that class. There's no much competition in that class to begin with. I think you'll podium just finishing the race.

When we went to Oak Hill we were about 2-3 laps down on them till our engine blew to .

Anyway, good job on the race!

Tony did you get that front end stiffened?

you're guess was correct. roger and his onroad/offroad gang was strong in 1st. there were 7 or 8 Formula 7 teams out there i believe.

Yep, Patrick re-worked our front end, rides like a dream now.

i believe 5 out of the f7 teams actually finished

one team was out in the first hour....we were out around halfway, the other teams fixed their problems and got back out. wish we had brought a spare tube for the tire, we would've been back in it.

anybody know why the rear tube decided to pop? i see no evidence of sharp objects in the tire......so my guess is, tires got hot, tube expanded too much, and blew out. my tire pressures was 16 in front and 14 in rear. (cold)

Could be for many reasons... we've had 2 flats on our rear tire on the XR. I too have looked and don't see any issues with any sharp objects. I would assume the heat had something to do with it.

Some of this coulda maybe saved ya out there... http://cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=&L2...003_G&tier2=80

You might wanna read this also, it's a good idea esp for the motards.
