I-10 West HOV Lane

What is the best way to get on the I-10 West HOV lane near downtown? I'll actually be coming from midtown today around 4.

I think I remember seeing an entrance on Franklin near the Post Office but I don't remember.

yeah you theres a little entrance by the police station but the hov ends pretty quickly and then you have to get on again by 610. its probably not worth it for you to get on at that entrance. id just hit 45 to i-10, and get on the hov lane at 610

inbound or outbound on I-10?

the downtown HOV lane ends right after studemont. then you;d jump on the I-10 outbound HOV on the left side of I-10W right past washington.
