problems with my ipod

ok for some reason when i plug my ipod mini(if that maters)into my computer, it wont be recognized at all. it will still charge the battery, but it acts like it's not connected to my computer. allready tried to uninstall and re-install

Anyone have a similar problem or have any suggestions. :dontknow:

What OS are you using (Win95, Win98, Win2000 or WinXP)...??

Check for valid USB ports, try connecting another USB device and see if your system can recognize it.

Try taking the batteries out and putting them back in or maybe it possible has a reset button on it somewhere. I don't know anything about iPod but I do own an mp3 player.

you cant take the battery out and ive tried to reset all settings(does nothing)

if there's ANYTHING all ipod owners will learn through repetition... it is how to reset their ipod...* :eh:

they tend to lock up a lot... but resetting also helps other probs as well...

Throw it away, it's an apple product and is very overated. creative makes a much better one with more memory + a raido + it's about 90 bucks cheaper
