Except the laser needs a reflector on the other end.. so the turn lane wouldn't know who or what lane tripped it.

Simple fix is to just do away with all the turn sensors and time every intersection to include turn lanes.

This happens every night I go to work. I was actually sitting on my Yami 250 and Guitar Man on his FZ6 and we sat through 3 lights before running the red. I will always give it 3 lights. I've tried everything. Kickstand, bike on sensor line, rolling back and forth. Stinking sensors. Texlurch is right - need to just time all lights to include turn signals.

Yo meaner-n-u,

If its a common problem, why wait? You know it won't work the next time so and you end up blowing it anyways so save yourself the time and just go. It happens to me all the time in my neighborhood. If its late at night or traffic is light, I just go.

Never thought of the kickstand.... Maybe I can drop my keys, loose change and other metal objects like at the airport... Or just drive the Kat... that thing could be recycled into a downtown interstructure for a skyscraper....

i have been stopped twice for this. never got a ticket. If the sensor does not pick up the bike after a couple rounds you are to treat the light as not operating corectly and treat it as a 4 way stop.
