3rd gear wheelie going 50 can easily be done. Just have to have teh right bike and the right technique. 2 things i don't have. :eh:

Re: Walmart/Kohl's Wednesday????

u can clutch up in 3rd at 40mph , or pretty much any gear if you got the know how. Just keep trying.. although you should master 1st and 2nd before you start trying 3rd. With 3rd gear wheelies if you dont have enough speed and you dont get high enough it will come right back down as soon as u go up. i think thats pretty much with any gear wheelies. Learn to get them higher and ride them out longer , then you will be doing them in 3rd in no time.

Re: Walmart/Kohl's Wednesday????

no point in 3rd gear wheelies unless you want to haul down the freeway

plus in 2nd u have more engine brake than u would in 3rd

i say no to 3rd !

if u SE riders want to hit up that road im talkin about on sat during the day let me know .. it has no lights so it would be pointless at night

I'm better in 2nd but I can get it up in 3rd. I'm no pro but I finally figured out clutching it up. I was riding with Eddie, Paul, Carlos the other night and we were practicing behind Best Buy and some other places. They said I was getting up about chest high on my stand ups and sitting down. Just gotta keep practicing.

lolz. I have nothing to prove. I just did alot of reading up and watching and practicing and finally figured out. I'm no pro but I have the basics down and now I just keep practicing. I'll get my pro status like you have one day.
