That's why I don't ride one of those sport bike racing thingies...
+1

Thank you, sir, but there are few that disagreed that this is worth reading. Maybe, I should sell my 10r and get the wing. That way I won't have this problem.

NOT. Maybe someday but not today.

I get that all the time... pulled into NW Cycles for a tire, pulled off the brain bucket and they are like "WTF??? We heard something come flying down the road and an OLD guy gets off... "

Tough call, I mean are the cops far enough behind that they cannot see you exit? Or not see the other bikes haul past you? tough call, not really sure what I'd do. FOr sure wouldn't haul and run to. Just not sure if I'd continue putting along or exit and hide. Course I am a chick and wear a bright pink jacket, less of a chance for mistaken identity ( or being unmistakeable) If I did something wrong I am pretty easy to spot. Bike's pretty unique too.

If you wear something that stands out like PINK then less chance of being targeted but if you are wearing like black, blue, red, which is the majority of colors in bikes and apparel, you could be the victim of mistaken identity.

Man if the police was far behind i would gun it. i've done this before in a car and a CIVIC at that. I was coming out from under the freeway making a left turn and noticed that the red light didn't turn green because most of the time i can time up. Well i ended up running the light, and there was a cop CONTROLLING the lights and he plugged the plug on the control box and after he did that, i hauled for about a mile, pulled into some office buildings where alot of cars parked and went inside. Luckily i didn't get caught.
