GOT MY FIRST CRUSER!

ok well i have never had a cruser nor have i road one so this is my first , i have allways had gixxers busa, 600 ex. so what i got a 2003 american ironhorse, tejas! i like it but i am not use to the way it sits or handles , i rode it back from pasadeana yesterday. not bad ride but am not to good with the short or hard slow tursn, kinda long bike but any way i will ride more and see how it goes, do you all have any tips as far as turning on this big ol basterd?

its funny couse i take off from a stop and i am looking for the controles down and back but they are up and forward! any way its a ridged and the ride is surprizingly smooth other than a good size bump or train tracks! any way this it the bike and i love it but i am giveing up my brand new busa, couse i realy want my wife to ride an i know she will like this better , she comes from a HD family! that is what she is use to rideing!

I sold my ZX-12R to get a cruiser to ride my wife on. However, I got to keep my ZX-10R. It will take a little while to get used to, but it is no big deal. Cruisers make sweet rides.

What a SWEET Ride! You need to get some photos of you AND your wife on the bike or with the bike for the MH Family Tree!

A neighbor of mine has an American Ironhorse. He loves it and has had no problems in a couple years. The first thing to scrape on his is the lower part of the swingarm, not the footpegs. I tended to swing wide in corners when I got my Warrior after scrapping a peg way sooner than expected. It doesn't take long to get used to the handling though. Great color too!

That's awfully shiny. I predict many hours of chrome polishing in your future.

Congrats on the new ride.

WELL

let me see , yes its a ridgid and we will be getting her a seat and a sissy bar, its a 240 so it has room for her ! no problem! the ride is not that bad kinda smooth! turns are not hard just he sharp ones at low speed , wheel flop and all that , i do like the color so thanks and i could keep the busa but i have already told a friend he could buy it, i could crawfish on him, ( should i ), and i am not a squid just new to the other half of rideing! and yes alot of polishing i have to start this weekend its has not been done in a wile!

i think that covers everyone!

thanks

Don't hard tails compress your spinal vertebrae causing back problems?

I'll give you six months before you trade it in for something with rear suspension.
