BE SAFE OUT THERE YALL!!!!

Montebello --
Two males died when the motorcycle they were on crashed in Montebello, police said today.

The accident occurred on Montebello Boulevard at Paramount Boulevard shortly after 9 last night, said Lt. Govan Yee of the Montebello Police Department.

The two males died at the scene, Yee said.

Shortly before the crash, a motorist called 911 and reported she was being followed by two males on a motorcycle, he said.

It was unclear if she was being followed or why, but a California Highway Patrol officer in the area spotted a motorcycle that appeared to be following a vehicle near Montebello Town Center, Yee said.

The driver of the motorcycle apparently saw the officer, sped up, then crashed into a curb and tree, killing himself and his passenger, Yee said.

The female motorist who phoned in the report was not located, he said

MyFOX Los Angeles - North Hollywood -- A motorcyclist died in a collision with an MTA bus on the northbound Hollywood (170) Freeway today and eight people were treated for minor injuries, according to a fire department official.

Investigators believe the MTA bus "pinched off the motorcyclist who was then flipped into the southbound lanes where he was hit by a van," said the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The bus then crashed into the freeway's center divider at Burbank Boulevard in North Hollywood at 6:13 p.m., fire officials said.

Six to seven cars got into collisions trying to avoid basketball sized pieces of cement coming from the center divider, according to fire officials.

An hour after the collision, the motorcyclist's body still had not been freed from underneath the van. The stretch of the freeway near the collision was expected to remain closed for several more hours.

The other injuries were minor, mostly chest pains caused by the shock of what they saw, fire department officials said.
