sitting on a bike with a bent stand is gonna make it bent more. I wouldn't lower it in the first place but if that's your thing just don't sit on it.

yea well the bike is already lowered. I am a noob rider so I wasn't comfortable not being able to touch the ground. The kickstand I have it cut but there is nothing on the bottom, not sure what it's called. It will dig straight into to ground.

gixxer kickstand is cast iron? You sure? Most stands are just regular metal, I think yamaha went with an aluminum

If you have the original piece that was cut off (or a bent one that I can cut the end off of) and the existing cut stand, I can trim/weld it up for you (as long as it's steel).

Lemme know. I'm in the NW area (290/1960). Wouldn't take long at all.

adjustable kickstand aren't too expensive; plus several styles or options available... I'd offer our welder but hasn't had any gas for some time(BMW not supportive of welding equipment in a shop enviroment I guess- everything clips or glued together anyways.)

I have plenty of scrap laying around if you want to drop by some time. Should be a forged part but you can still weld good enuf to cast for a side stand.
