i was looking on LSTD.com and do you really have to have you M endorsment for 1 year to race, or is there a way to get around it.

Where does it say you have to have M endorsement to race? I dont think there is such a thing needed.

To clarify, that is for a track day, not racing. Also, that is new I guess.

If you're old enough and ride, there is no excuse not to have an M endorsement.

I told you that there were some changes on the horizon. We're customer driven, and we thrive on feedback.

Since we exist for you, and care about your safety, some guidelines had to be implemented to help mitigate any safety issues before even hitting the track.

I think the guidelines are a good change, and hopefully, there won't be any "getting around" these new guidelines.

Any questions can be directed to Steve@lstd.com for clarifications.

Thanks to everyone for helping make our trackdays safe and effective!

kinda retarded i mean what if a child prodigy wants to go around the track or something? what if someone dosent ride the skreet and just does trackdays?
plus M endorsements are overrated and so is msf

and also that means i have to wait a year to do a trackday there

I'm guessing a race license would get you in but, if you don't have an M endorsement or race license then I am not sure i would want to ride at the track with you.

That's exactly why there is a contact for exceptions to the rule. These are things that need to be dealt w/ as they happen. If there is a child prodigy (which there are plenty of out there) or a 50 year old who just started riding, the orgs need to be able to deal w/ those on a 1-on-1 basis...

What they will avoid is the guy/gal who can't hardly ride, doesn't even have a license and signs up for a trackday, and proceeds to ride like a bat out of . They wouldn't have to do this if the potential offenders would all be up front w/ organization about their noob-ness, but for whatever reason people don't say anything and proceed to go out and screw up.

I have the M and have taken the MSF, been riding a while... but since I just got my M a few months back, looks like I won't be able to do any TDs at LSTD until next year. Good thing Winter is upon us.
