Lowering My CBR

I just got my 07 Honda CBR lowered but I have a gut feeling that I got screwed. They were suppose to lower the rear and the front, but my bike looks totally diffrent. It's suppose to be higher on the back, but now it just looks kind of the same on both, meaning the seat is straight (at least thats the way it appears).

Anyone has any advise how I can make sure the front was lowered???

uuhhhhh, just look at the fork tubes in the triple clamp, if they are just a couple mm above it, then no, the front wasn't lowered. if there's an inch or more sticking out, then obviously it was lowered.

wtf are you doing on a brand new sportbike if you can't even figure that out??

ChickRider, like someone above said, it sounds as if they only lowered the rear of the bike so it fits you better. They should have lowered the triple trees on the forks some as well in the front so the entire bike was lowered "evenly". Either way, the bike's handling characteristics are going to be different than they were before lowering so when you ride it, keep that in mind and take the time to get used to it.

I appreciate all of you that have tried to help me and have been kind; yes, I do not know much about the parts and stuff...but I know how to ride my baby CBR. I will take it back on Tuesday, but for the meantime I will try to take some pics and post them.

Man, if I got screwed on this deal and they didn't do what I paid for I will raise some serious

I know this might sound silly but if anyone has their bike lowered on the front, can you please take a pic of the fork tubes in the triple clamp and post them???

Will get peace of mind...

nah, i bought the ohlins seperate. i'm hoping to make the oct 15th ridesmart date at msr, but i don't know if i'm going to be able to. i still need to send the forks off to get resprung and have the superbike internals put in, and i'm going to be out of town for a week and a half starting wednesday, so i don't know if i'm going to have time to get it all done in time. but don't worry, you'll see it out there soon enough.

Here is the wifes GT650; note how the fork tubes are sticking up above the triple frame clamp and good inch or so.
