I want!

I'm trying to find the link to a UK builder I saw a few weeks ago. I don't remember the price, but I don't think it was very cheap.

I've already seen something like it in person. A customer had a YZ250 chassis with a Yamaha 450 single in it. His name was Jesse Davis. Very fast, but the CMRA limited his classes quite a bit, it just out performed everything.
Maybe it was the tires

Your looking at full custom bikes. Project 450 is taking a stock dirtbike and making it a street bike. Big difference in my opinion.

i thought about it...but I can't find the chassis for cheap. Plus there's a lot of machining that needed to be done.

Decided to just build the 426F'in Tard

^^ Not the cheap route. Hand built for you for 30k?! lol

I like the 450 engine stuffed into a 125 chassis idea though. Isn't there one or two in the CMRA already?

Watch the video I just posted. You do not need a chasis. You use your dirt bike one.

Yeah. Just wondering which route has less fab work.

the Ride Smart chassis route would require engine mounts + exhaust and ... ?

The project 450 had fab'd rearset mounts and ... ? DId he mention any fabwork to get the ZX6 frontend to couple with the frame?

He says it bolted right up but, some peoples idea of bolting right up may be a little different.

True. He's a custom builder so I'm sure my idea of bolting up and his are a bit different.

So when are you starting on yours. I'll help!

i was thinking of going the rs125 route. Basically you'd just be doing a motor swap.

it seems like it would end up costing more trying to convert it.

anyhow, let me know when and where...i was thinking of renting an office/warehouse to build into a private garage, but i can't afford the rent on my own.
