1/8th mile tonight? HMP

Thinking about hitting up the 1/8th mile on the 954 anyone care to join? Or maybe suggest a better track?

I know it should be a nice cool night. Never been out to the sealy track. What kinda group we talkin?

Just wanted to get an idea of what the bike can do. The 1/8th would be sufficient but the 1/4 would be more fun.

Textile works too if i'm not mistaken.

Man I would take the 954 to HRP and run a 1/4. That bike is gonna be better on the back half then the front half....1/8 racing is boring unless your bike is really setup for it and you ride well....At least if you run the 1/4, you can compare it to what they are supposed to run etc....

Stock 954 will prolly go some 10.20-10.30s@137-140 depending on how well you ride, how much it wheelies and how much you weigh.

Point taken. Im about 6'2 210 so im not a little guy

I have been wanting to drag race but not sure im ready to go all out for a 1/4 (not that I dont want to)

I,m just kiddin dont get ur panties in a wad, I ride every kinda bike and love each and everyone of them, a 954 is a great bike, and so are 600.s some guys can beat me in the curves with them, busas are great for the dragstrip tho, cant argue with that
