truck hit us last night

riding the busa taking my gf home, after a nice ride. it was about 11:00pm. was at the crossover before you enter her apts. had grey gmc drive directly onto us. my gf fell onto the pavement. she landed onto her right side. then the bike landed on her. if i fell it was only for a second. i was too busy yelling at the driver. he just drove right into his apts. he parked his truck and went home. had three people watch this happen. called the police, and the emts.. got all the drivers info, even his place of business. my gf is okay. all we have is back and neck pain. i also have a banged up left leg. we had all our gear on. my bikes new carbon fiber front fender is cracked. left fairing is also cracked. windscreen is also broken. oil is shooting out the left side. not too sure of the engine damage yet. im more mad than anything that we got hit. all we had to do was ride up into her apts. ill update you guys later on this. ride safe.

I'm glad to hear that you guys didn't have any major medical problems with the crash. It sounds like the guy was drunk or something. I wonder if the police got him for leaving the sceen and going home (WTF?!)

I have the same fear when riding with my daughter...

I hate to hear that when a BUSA going down, and damage to the Frame or Sub frame? Home that you both heal up soon, egg his house his ride and him if you see his again

I sure as hope someone is getting arrested! My old gf's mom was involved in a hit & run case & someone spent 3 mos in jail - not much but enough to make most idiots think twice.

Glad you two are ok & nothing more serious happened.

that's what I was thinking. If someone knocks you off of your bike with their car you're already gonna be plenty . But if they flee the scene....A.W.T.
