New to Houston

Hi, how's it going?* I am new here.* I just moved back to TX after being away for a while.* I'm looking to get into the TX track scene.* I went up to TWS (Texas World Speedway) on Sunday and cornerworked turn 3.* I was really impressed how CMRA runs things.* *Got to watch some good racing too.* Also looking to get a YSR.* Any website you recommend to find more info on Mini racing and how I can get myself a 50?* I appreciate any info.* Thanks.* Here's a pic of me at VIR when I used to be able to ride.

Re: New to Houston

That was taken a month before I broke my hand during a race. Ever since then, I haven't been able to get back up to speed. The last time I've been on the track was November.

Re: New to Houston

Check out www.tmgps.8k.com I race a Honda NSR50 with Moody (another member). It's the best (maybe only) mini racing league here in TX. People come from all over TX and some from OK to race with us. Colin Edwards, the Hayden boys, Ben Spies and Jon Haner all raced in TMGP. Join up and come out to some races!

Re: New to Houston

Yup... I'll be racing a silver NSR #57. I'm the super tall guy (6'4) with black 2 peice leathers and a red/white helmet.

Eh scratch that... I'm no longer racing with that team. :dontknow:
