i landed a job as a mechanic! no, two of them!

hey all,

ive been slowly working towards becoming a mechanic, and it seems his plan is becoming reality in full effect!!! all those tools ive invested in will finally earn me some money, and all ive learned will go to a much better use.

as most of you know, i work at stubbs sw at the parts counter. well last tuesday i also started doing basic maintenance and service for awesome cycles fleet of MSF bikes! that was hot but alot fun.

i figured that job could help me get a foot in the door somewhere else, and i might find a full time lift at a dealer in a few months down the road, well guess what? to top that off, it didnt take a few months... opportunity knocked on my door the very next day!

at the end of this month i will no longer be working at stubbs. i will be an entry level tech for team mancuso (kawi dealer at 59 and fondren)!!! so ill be there tue through sat, and at awesome cycles on mondays. ill only be working on the metric stuff, nothing built with those silly fractions.

so this is my chance to prove myself, and i am looking forward to it. i liked what i saw when i went to check out the dealership, i think i will be alot happier there.

i know im going to learn so much at this job, i cant wait. i will have a good amount of support to help me along if i need it.

Witnessing someone getting a job is a fine thing indeed. Congrats and you're lucky that it's in something you enjoy.
